About the Genuine Code Ezy Remote to suit ATA PTX-5v1
What makes this listing worth reading rather than skimming is the entry at the top of its own compatibility list, which is not a garage door opener at all. The DCB-05 is a dual gate controller. A controller is the board that sits between the power and the gate motors, and on a double swing gate one controller drives both leaves. So a handset published against a DCB-05 is not opening a door, it is telling a controller to run a sequence, and both leaves move from one button press. The NES-24v1 NeoSlider and the SGO-1 Elite on the same list are sliding gate units, and the RD-40V1 sits with them.
That matters commercially more than it looks. A property with a garage door at the house and a gate at the street usually ends up with two remotes, because they were bought years apart from whoever installed each one. If both the door and the gate appear on the list below, they can share a single handset with buttons to spare, and the second remote goes in a drawer.
The garage side of the list runs the GDO-6v3 and GDO-6v4 EasyRoller units, the GDO-7v2 and GDO-7v3 SecuraLift units, the GDO-8v3 Shed Master, the GDO-9 in its Dynamo, Enduro and Ero forms, the GDO-9v2 SecuraLift and Enduro, the GDO-9v3 Dominator and Dynamo, the GDO-10v1 Toro and the GDO-11v1.
Three exclusions are published. It does not suit a blue case PTX-4 on 433 MHz. It does not suit an older ATA motor still on SecuraCode or on 27 MHz unless a TrioCode receiver card has been fitted. And it does not suit GEN2 motors or a v2 remote in a grey case with grey buttons, which is the identification test set out in detail on the Code Ezy ATA PTX-5v1 Compatible Remote listing.
The specification is four openings, rolling code, 433 MHz. A 23A cell is supplied in place behind a screwed cover. A printed coding sheet goes in the carton too, which not every listing in this range does, along with a key ring.
This is an aftermarket handset carrying a third party badge. It is not manufactured, authorised, endorsed or approved by Automatic Technology Australia.
One thing to expect if you code this to a gate rather than a door. If only one leaf of a pair moves afterwards, the handset is not the problem and recoding it will not help. A remote either reaches the controller or it does not, and what happens after that is between the controller and the two motor arms. That is a call for a technician on 1300 736 683 rather than a second remote.

Delivery, returns and fitting
Shipping costs and delivery times are shown beside the Add to cart button above. Unused parts can be returned by post within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, with return postage paid by you.
