About the Code Ezy B&D Tritran Compatible Remote
It will not suit a B&D motor installed after June 2014. That date is the most useful thing on this page. B&D moved on after it, and a door fitted from mid 2014 onward wants a different handset no matter how similar the old remote looks. If you know roughly when your opener went in, you have your answer in seconds.
It will not suit a remote with grey buttons. It will not suit a Tritran+ remote, which is a later system despite the shared name. And it will not suit a PanelPro motor.
Where it does suit, the list is the RDO-1V2 Diamond Power Drive and the RDO-1V2 FM, the SDO-1V2 P, the SDO-2V1 PD and SDO-2V2 PD, the SDO-3V1 CADS Controll-A-Door S, the 62730, 62733 and 70241 remotes, the BD2 and BD4, the CAD615 and CAD616, and the TB2, TB4 and TB5. On the Controll-A-Door side it takes in the P and the P Diamond, Whisper Quiet included, and the Diamond Power Drive where that is an RDO-1V3. On the RDO-1V2 there is a condition: the aerial coming out of the motor must not be white.
Worth saying plainly that this list is shorter than the one on our B&D Tritran Compatible Remote page. Three motors that appear there do not appear here. If your opener is an RDO-2V2 EL, an SDO-3V2 CADS or an SDO-3V1 EL Easylifter, that is the listing to use rather than this one.
Four buttons, each coded on its own, running rolling code on 433 MHz. The case is 2.2 cm by 6 cm by 1 cm. A CR2032 coin cell is supplied fitted, the compartment needs a tool, and third party AS62368.1 testing is published. Coding instructions and a key ring are in the box.
