The TOP series uses fixed coding rather than rolling, so the signal does not change between presses. That was standard when these gates were installed and it is a property of the system rather than of any one handset. A copy carries the security of its original.

Physically it is a slim black two button unit, about 3.2 cm wide, 6.84 cm long and 1.15 cm deep. It runs on a single CR2032, fitted before dispatch, behind a tool released cover.

One piece of advice that is worth more than anything else on this page. If your old remote still opens the gate, keep it after the new one is coded.
