About the ATA PTX-5v1 Genuine Remote
Its published motor list is longer than the PTX-6V1's, not shorter.
Four openers appear on this listing and on neither PTX-6V1 page: the NES-24v3, the NES-500 and the NES-800 NeoSlider sliding gate units, and the RD-40V1. If your gate is one of those, this is the listing that names it. We are reporting what ATA's own published compatibility says rather than making a claim about the radio, and if you are on one of those four and would rather have the current model, ring us on 1300 736 683 and we will confirm it with ATA before you spend anything.
Everything else on the list it shares with the current range. On garage doors that is the GDO-6, GDO-6v3 and GDO-6v4 EasyRoller, the GDO-7v2 and GDO-7v3 SecuraLift, the GDO-8v3 ASM Shed Master, the GDO-9 Dynamo and Enduro, the GDO-9v2 SecuraLift and Enduro, the GDO-9v2S2, the GDO-9v3 Dominator and Dynamo, the GDO-10v1 Toro, the GDO-11v1, the GDO-11v3 and the GDO-12. On gates it is the DCB-05 dual gate controller, the NES-24v1 NeoSlider, the RD-20V1, the ATS-2 Tempo and the SGO-1 Elite.
The case is see through grey with orange buttons, which is the fastest way to identify one on a hook or in a drawer. It measures 3.59 cm across, 7.10 cm long and 1.30 cm deep, making it slightly shorter than the PTX-6V1. It carries a CR2032 under a cover that needs a tool and a red light that confirms each transmission.
The two exclusions are the same as the rest of the TrioCode range. It will not suit a blue case PTX-4 on 433 MHz, and it will not suit an older ATA motor still running SecuraCode or 27 MHz TX unless a TrioCode receiver card has been fitted.
If you are replacing one of a pair and the other is still working, this is the one to buy rather than the newer model. Two identical handsets in a household means one set of instructions, one battery to keep spare and one less thing to work out in five years when the next one fails.
