The motors it works with are the NeoSlider range in NES-24v1, NES-500 and NES-800 form, the Elite SGO-1, the Toro GDO-10v1, the GDO-11v1 and GDO-11v3, the GDO-9 Dynamo along with the GDO-9v2 and the GDO-9v3, the Shed Master GDO-8v3 ASM, both SecuraLift versions of the GDO-7, the EasyRoller in GDO-6, GDO-6v3 and GDO-6v4 form, and the DCB-05 Dual Gate Controller. Ruled out are the blue case PTX-4 on 433 MHz, and any ATA motor left on the SecuraCode or 27 MHz TX systems that has never had a TrioCode receiver card added.

Controlling four doors from one keypad is the feature that sets this apart from a simple single door unit. A property with a garage, a pedestrian gate, a driveway gate and a shed can run all four from the same pad, and a small strata block can give residents keypad access to a car park without issuing a remote to every unit. Each channel is coded separately, so you can start with one and add the others later.

The keypad is wireless and talks to the opener on 433 MHz, so there is no cabling to run back to the motor and it can go wherever it is most useful: beside the front door, on the gate post, or at the car park entry. Two screws are supplied for mounting. The case is cream with clear buttons and a green indicator light, and it measures roughly 7.4 cm wide, 13.64 cm long and 2.5 cm deep.

Power is a 9V battery, fitted before dispatch. That is the rectangular block type rather than a coin cell. The compartment needs a tool to open. On an outdoor keypad the battery is the single most common cause of a unit that has stopped responding, so it is always worth changing before assuming a fault.

Programming is learn to receiver. You put the motor into learn mode, set your PIN, and the receiver stores it, with the rolling TrioCode encryption generating a fresh code on every use. Instructions are included.
